The following instructions are only applicable to dolls made from TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) material, not silicone. If your doll has a TPE body with a silicone head, these tips only apply to the maintenance of her TPE body. For guidance on silicone dolls, click here.

What You Will Need:

  • Mild soap and water
  • Microfiber cloths
  • Baby oil
  • Baby powder (or corn starch/corn flour)
  • Nivea Body Lotion
  • Vaseline (100% Pure Petroleum Jelly)
  • Acne cream with Benzoyl Peroxide (for stain removal)
  • Water-based lubricant
  • Talcum powder (non-scented)
  • A small fan for drying
Things you'll need

The First Day is Crucial

When your TPE doll arrives, proper cleaning is essential to remove production residues that can discolor her skin over time.

  1. Initial Cleaning:
    • Use a mild soap and water mixture with a soft microfiber cloth to gently clean her body.
    • Important: Be gentle and avoid scrubbing too hard. Repeat this process 5-6 times to ensure all production residue is removed.
    • You don’t need to carry her to the bathroom—lay her on a thick blanket (or a few thinner ones) on the floor to absorb excess water.
  2. Oil Application:
    • After cleaning, apply baby oil evenly over her body and let it absorb overnight.
  3. Powdering:
    • If her skin feels sticky the next day, lightly powder her body with baby powder or corn starch.

Note: If your doll has hyper-realistic painting, do not wash her body with soap and water, as it may damage the painting.

TPE Skin Care

  1. Weekly Care:
    • Apply Nivea Body Lotion to delicate areas such as elbows, knees, armpits, and the pubic area. Let it absorb for about 6 hours.
  2. Monthly Rejuvenation:
    • Treat her skin with baby oil monthly to restore elasticity and replenish natural oils.
    • If using Vaseline, let it absorb overnight for best results.
  3. Managing Stickiness:
    • Over time, her skin may feel sticky. Use a large makeup brush to gently dust her with baby powder or corn starch.

Stain Removal

Stains can appear due to dyes, materials, or production residue. Follow these steps to prevent and treat stains:

  1. Preventing Stains:
    • Wash all new clothing before dressing your doll, especially black or dark-colored fabrics.
  2. Treating Stains:
    • If staining occurs, remove the cause immediately. For faster results:
      • Use acne cream containing Benzoyl Peroxide.
      • Apply the cream to the stained area for about 60 minutes, wipe clean, and repeat if needed.

Lubrication for Safe Use

Always use water-based lubricant during intercourse to protect the TPE material and prevent tearing.

Final Tips

  • Eyelashes: Protect delicate eyelashes. Reattach using super glue if they come off.
  • Hands and Fingers: Avoid excessive force to prevent damage.
  • Alcohol-Free Products: Use alcohol-free alternatives for perfumes and cleaning.

  1. Roger Smythe says:

It is my understanding that WM has a new Platinum TPE formulation that does not require the typical ‘Roman Bath’ monthly cleaning. Is this correct? If so, how can I tell if a particular doll that you have listed from WM is made from Platinum TPE?

    1. tenderdolls says:

      Dear Roger,

Thank you dearly for your question!

I had to confirm with WM workers to answer this questions 100% accurately.
According to WM, platinum TPE was an option many years ago. However, currently, absolutely all of the WM dolls listed on our site are made out of platinum TPE.

If you have any questions or concerns, whatsoever, please let me know! It’s a pleasure for me to be able to help!

      Kindest wishes,

Other tpe sex doll forums say not to use Nivea body cream or lotion, because it’s mostly water, and tpe is porous and the water can get into it and cause mold on the skin. I am a new owner, and want what’s best for my doll. Can you please give me more information about this. Thank you.

Thank you for your question! You’re correct that it’s best to avoid lotions with high water content, like Nivea, as TPE is porous, and moisture can potentially lead to mold. Instead, we recommend using mineral oil (like unscented baby oil) every few months to keep the TPE soft and moisturized. After applying, lightly dusting with cornstarch or a TPE-safe powder can help reduce stickiness.
